9,5>16 is with no doubt the achievement of film researches conducted ten years ago on ?rayograms? (see Man Ray's ?cin-rayogrammes?) and researches on ?table printing?. 9,5>16 is a pure ?rayogram? film, without any figurative pattern, maybe realized in ?rayogram? by a experienced cameraman thanks to one or two reels, 9,5mm leader, B&W 16mm printing film (Kodak 7302 or equivalent) and with the sparkle of an empty lighter. "9,5>16" ? "9 1/2" ! It seems to me it is necessary to clarify this to avoid misunderstandings.

The story of the working and personal relationship between the comedians Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, a hugely popular duo in the UK during the 1960s and 1970s. Focusing primarily on Cook, the film traces the pair from their first meeting through their career as part of the Beyond the Fringe review, their television series Not Only... But Also and various other projects before their later estrangement as Moore became a successful Hollywood film star and Cook remained in the UK.

The film is based on Christian Kampmann's novels: "Certain Considerations", "Solid Relationships", "Clean Lines" and "Other Ways" (1973-75).
